I want it to be clear that I consider the activity of freelancing to encompass a much wider group of people than what is generally considered. Of course, there are writers and designers, artists, programmers and marketers that make up a significant portion of online freelancing activity.
But if your talents and interests lie outside that portion of the freelance marketplace don’t cut yourself short. You are still a freelancer in my opinion. I view each individual as having their own special, unique story. And every story has value. Every one of us has a unique life experience that has the potential to become a focused passion and vision, adding richness to our lives and the lives of others that find value and pleasure in the passion and vision shared.
So this is the direction I want to take Freelancers Dojo. I do not want it to be just another site about the mechanics of freelancing and outsourcing. I want it to be about what drives the freelancer and how to strategically channel that motivation and talent for the successful fulfillment of dreams.
